In fact, our protein bars have a real role to play in the muscle rebuilding process that takes place after exercise. But their usefulness doesn't stop there. We recommend that you consume them after a session, of course, but also on certain long outings that can last several hours, as they have a reasonable carbohydrate content.

Choosing an organic protein bar means avoiding the chemicals and other processed ingredients that adorn most protein bars on the market. Our protein bar is in line with our philosophy: as raw and selective as possible in the choice of ultra-premium foods it contains. Like all our products, it is gluten-free, dairy-free and grain-free. This is to avoid the blood sugar and digestive problems so familiar to endurance athletes.

A delicious alternative to other spreads, with no palm oil, no milk and using wholegrain cane sugar to preserve your body and your health in the best possible way. Two delicious recipes with healthy ingredients and around 70% oilseeds each, no less! The ideal snack to enjoy with a slice of organic bread or directly with a spoon for those with a sweet tooth.

It's perfect at any time of the day: for breakfast, as a snack or for recovery after your workout, thanks to its high protein content. A vegetable protein that's perfectly assimilated by your body!

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

What are the main ingredients used in Baouw?

In your Baouw, you'll only find fruit, vegetables, oilseeds, plants, spices and extra virgin olive oil. All these foods are organic. You'll also notice that we don't use the term ingredients, but foods, because we prefer “real” cooking. Sports performance is important to Baouw, but only if it goes hand in hand with health.

How long can Baouw be kept?

Your Baouw products don't have a use-by date, just a best-before date (from the day of production, which is the recommended best-before date) that can vary from 12 to 24 months from production. This means that you can eat them even after this date: they may just have lost a little flavour or hardened a little.

Your products are preservative-free. Your recipes have been designed to contain antioxidant ingredients (extra virgin olive oil, fruit, spices, plants, etc.) and to be as unrefined as possible in order to preserve as much naturalness as possible while ensuring a long shelf life. Thanks in particular to their highly protective packaging.

What types of use are Baouw products intended for?

Baouw are suitable for all sports in general, not just endurance sports. The composition of the recipes guarantees a continuous and healthy supply of energy, whatever the activity. The frequency of use, however, will depend on the type and intensity of the activity. The bars and purées can also be eaten as a healthy snack.

What's the difference between cereal bars and Baouw bars?

Our energy bars contain no cereals. And we obviously have good reasons for not using them. Cereal bars are rich in gluten, the enemy of the intestines. They are acidifying, often refined with empty calories and very sweet. This is not the case with all cereal bars, but it is important to read their composition carefully before consuming them.
