At Baouw, we try to keep our prices as fair as possible throughout the year. That's why we don't discount our products, and we don't have promo codes for first-time orders.

On the other hand, we have discounts on bulk purchases (packs of 20 or 40), as well as a ‘good deals’ tab, where you can find all our bargains.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an e-mail from the carrier enabling you to track the progress of your order.

If your order has arrived damaged, we advise you to send an e-mail to the following address: eshop@baouw.fr, if possible, send photos of your delivery note and the damaged parcel. We'll get back to you as soon as possible to resolve the problem.

Our 50g bars (excluding protein bars) and energy purées contain only the sugars naturally present in the fruit. The sweetness comes solely from the quality of the fruit used, picked when ripe, and the inventiveness of our chef Yoann Conte, who has two Michelin stars.

Our gels and protein bars contain agave syrup, a natural sweetener.

Baouw's aim is to provide you with the energy you need for your efforts, while remaining healthy for your body. Not adding refined sugars goes a long way towards achieving this. It's also a way of controlling and maintaining a moderate glycaemic index, to avoid blood sugar spikes that can lead to major slumps later on. Baouw bars and purées contain only fruits, vegetables, oilseeds, herbs, spices and extra virgin olive oil. All these foods are organic.

The gels contain only fruit, agave syrup, plants and extra virgin olive oil.

In our protein range you'll find organic vegetable proteins and natural added sugars such as agave syrup or cane sugar.

The main difference between your gels and your purées is the carbohydrate content. Your purées, with no added sugar, contain an average of 15g of carbohydrates, whereas your gels contain 30g thanks to the natural sugars in the fruit and the added agave syrup.

The texture of your purees is more satiating because they're a little thicker, and the recipes are either savoury or sweet, so they're better suited to medium-intensity, long-duration efforts. Your gels, which are more concentrated, provide a real boost, are better suited to intense efforts and can be consumed either pure or diluted in a 500ml flask.

Your Baouw energy bars are grain-free. And we obviously have good reasons for not using them. Cereal bars are rich in gluten, not necessarily recommended for our intestines. They are often refined with empty calories and very sweet. This is not the case with all cereal bars, but it is important to read their composition carefully before consuming them.

Industrial compotes usually contain additives and added sugars, which are not recommended for your health. Baouw purees contain only the sugars naturally present in fruit. These sugars are better assimilated by the body. They are also higher in calories, as they contain lipids (from extra virgin olive oil) and proteins (more present in savoury recipes). They enable you to maintain all the nutrients you need during exercise, while preserving your health.

At Baouw, we've decided to make energy gels rhyme with naturalness, and at the same time, performance and health. In other words, energy gels that provide an optimal carbohydrate intake (30g per gel), are easy to chew and light to carry, but contain no refined sugars or other additives.

In other words, these are energy gels made entirely from foods found in nature, prepared in our own kitchen pots and pans, without the need for laboratory test tubes.

Conventional gels, on the other hand, supply the body with large quantities of ultra-processed carbohydrates (such as glucose syrup) and cause blood sugar levels to spike. This can be harmful to your health in the long term.

In our manufacturing process, we focus on proximity. We always source and manufacture as close as possible to our customers, at three production sites, two in the South of France, the other in Catalonia.

Your Baouw products don't have a use-by date, just a best-before date (from the day of production, which is the recommended best-before date) that can vary from 12 to 24 months from production. Which means you can eat them even after that: they may just have lost a little taste or hardened a little.​

Your products are preservative-free. Your recipes have been designed to contain antioxidant ingredients (extra virgin olive oil, fruit, spices, plants, etc.) and to be as unrefined as possible in order to preserve as much naturalness as possible while ensuring a long shelf life. Thanks in particular to their highly protective packaging.

We advise you to hydrate regularly at an average of 500 ml/h of effort, to be adapted according to the heat and your level of perspiration.

After 1h30 of effort, you can start adding electrolytes to your water to compensate for your loss of minerals (sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium) which ‘escape’ via your perspiration.

You can also add carbohydrates to your drink, either with our 500ml dilutable gel, which provides 30g of carbohydrates, or with an energy drink powder.

Your Baouw are suitable for all sports in general, not just endurance sports. The composition of the recipes guarantees a continuous and healthy supply of energy, whatever the activity. The frequency of use, however, depends on the type and intensity of effort.

Your bars, purées and spreads can also be enjoyed as healthy snacks throughout the day.

With the exception of energy gels, all Baouw products are suitable for children. Baouw energy bars and purees have no added sugar and are made with fruit, vegetables, oilseeds, herbs, spices and extra virgin olive oil. They are therefore suitable for children and pose no risk.

Our spreads contain much less sugar than those available on the market. Composed simply of oilseeds, sugar and vegetable proteins, they offer an excellent alternative for a healthy, gourmet snack!

Your Bouw can be stored at room temperature between 15° and 25°, away from humidity. After opening, your energy purées and gels can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. You can find all this information on the specific product pages in the “instructions for use” section.
