Marie Bochet, born in Chambéry, is a French Paralympic skier with agenesis of the left arm. She began skiing at the age of five and turned to disabled sport in 2006. She has won eight gold medals at the Paralympic Games and is the most successful skier in the history of the Winter Games, no less! A graduate of SciencesPo Paris, she is also involved in initiatives for peace through sport and is a member of the Athletes' Commission for Paris 2024. Marie is part of the Baouwers family!
